On Monday August 2, 2004 production began on the MSM 2005 models.There were 20 vehicles produced that day; 19 for the USA including 9 Black Mica and 2 Lava Orange cars (New colors for 2005). There was also a Titanium Grey unit produced for Puerto Rico.

The first 2005 model produced was Chassis # 411087 painted in Black Mica, was destined for the United States.
The first (and only) 2005 model destined for Puerto Rico produced was Chassis # 411107 painted in Titanium Grey.
