Production begins on the MSM

Worldwide production of the North American Mazdaspeed Miata began on Jan 14,2004 with the completion of 20 units; 5 Velocity Red cars for the Canadian Market and the balance of 15 cars (11 VR, 4 TI) destined for the USA.

Interesting note; the first MSM produced was a Titanium Grey unit somewhat ironic as all previous pre-production models displayed at introduction and PR events were Velocity Red.
